My wife and I went with several of the Pelham saints tonight after Choir practice to Cracker Barrel and had a wonderful time. It was great to laugh and have a time of getting to know each other.
I have been a minister in the Church of God of Prophecy since 1957. I have pastored two churches in Virginia and six churches in Alabama for a total of forty-four, (45), years of Pastoral work. My wife, Frances, has been by my side each step of the way. We are currently, as of April 26, 2008 serving as Pastor of the Pelham Church of God of Prophecy.
Frances and I were married in Hampton, Virginia on October 27, 1960. We have two children and three grandchildren. God has blessed our family to love Him and keep Christ as the "center of our lives", to God goes all glory for this.
Each day of 2008 we should be looking for new opportunities to serve the Lord. We can serve God with our daily living for Him and by doing good for others. So, as we live each day of this year let's look for ways to be of service to Christ and His body.
Do something good for someone that is not expecting it and don't look for anything in return. YOU can be a blessing in more ways than you could ever imagine.
